| If you grew up in Chicago, chances
are you either came from the "West Side" or knew people who did.
Recently featured in The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Pioneer
Press and North Shore Magazine, the Great Vest Side Club is a
charitable organization started by a few "West Siders". Now
numbering over 400 members (many are Sports Lodge members also) this
year they will donate their 6th ambulance to American Friends of Magen
David Adom for Israel.
Even if you did not grow up
in Chicago, come to our Charity Dinner and meet a few authentic West
Siders, as we honor them for their charitable activities.
Dinner is at 6PM, but come at 4PM for the Rabbi Barry Schechter
comedy hour
(our own Jackie Mason of the Bimah)
followed by a 5PM social hour of Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
Or come earlier, beat the rush hour, and enjoy an afternoon at the
beautiful Hillcrest Country Club (pool, tennis courts, etc).
Everything is included in the $85 Dinner Fee. (Shower & lockers are
avilable if desired).
If you are joining a golfer (see golf outing panel on this page) for
dinner, he/she should be finished by the social hour.

This is your opportunity to play
one of the most beautiful and challenging private courses in the Chicago
area. Your $190 golf fee includes Lunch, cart, driving
range, golf, 2009 Car Hole-in-one contest, Long Drive Contest (under &
over 55 yrs old), Closest to pin contests, your own golf shirt, prizes
for everyone.
In addition, your golf fee includes your seat at our 6 PM Charity Dinner,
this year honoring The Great Vest Side Club. Finish playing early enough to
shower and join our non-golfing Charity
Dinner guests for a pre-Dinner social hour of Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails (cash
bar) at 5PM. Bring and meet your spouse and other guests for the dinner (only $85
each).

If, for any reason, you "give it up" early, catch the comedy hour
performance of Rabbi Barry Schechter at 4PM.
Your golf fee also includes all of the Hillcrest Country club
amenities (pool, tennis courts, locker room, etc.)
And most importantly, your golf fee supports the Lodge Youth
programs; Scholarship awards to worthy seniors exceeding $2 Million
during the past 40+ years and Athletic Recognition awards to deserving
